The top music reissues of 2012 are in the FOXLight…

Many album favorites got gloriously expanded:  Pink Floyd, who set the standard with their Immersion Edition campaign continued with The Wall…The 25^th Anniversaries of Paul Simon’s Graceland, Peter Gabriel’s So and Michael Jackson’s Bad were recognized with extra tracks galore…Paul McCartney pulled out all the stops for RAM’s 40^th birthday…and more recent classics like Rage Against The Machine’s debut and Smashing Pumpkins’ Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness also added copious goodies…

Frank Zappa fans got much needed remasters of his entire catalog…Complete Albums collections arrived for Bill Withers, Johnny Cash and The English Beat…and Joni Mitchell’s classic Studio Albums from ’68 to ’79 got boxed up as well…

The vinyl revival continued in full force with all the Studio Albums by The Beatles and The Who getting re-waxed on 180 gram audiophile-grade vinyl…

The seemingly endless well of Elvis Presley reissues saw two eras revisited: his Sun Studios recordings got cleaned up and expanded to include almost every note on A Boy From Tupelo…and Prince From Another Planet gave his 1972 Madison Square Garden shows a remix and added fan shot footage of the event…

Speaking of remixes: Jethro Tull’s Thick As A Brick and KISS’s Destroyer each got sparkling new mixes from Steven Wilson and Bob Ezrin, respectively…

And never before released goodies arrived from Carole King, who dug up some Legendary Demos…and Krautrock pioneers Can cleaned out their vaults on The Lost Tapes.
