The White Stripes 10th Anniversary is marked with a live album that leads this week’s FOXLight music release roundup. Under Great White Northern Lights documents their 2007 Canadian tour and comes in many flavors including CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, Vinyl and MP3 download.

Drive-By Truckers drop The Big To-Do, their 10th album and their most rocking effort in years, says lead Trucker Patterson Hood.

Brit-Rocker Graham Parker was inspired by lame TV theme songs to create his own fictional TV treatments and recorded their would-be theme songs as Imaginary Television.

Dropkick Murphys’ Live on Lansdowne, Boston MA covers the cream of their 6 night stand last year in the city of “Dirty Water”.

Here I Am is a live effort from Gospel’s current biggest voice, Marvin Sapp.

Also out this week…

The third album from Athens, GA-based rock trio The Whigs, In The Dark.

The Flobots combine 2 MC’s, a Viola player and a traditional rock band for an anything but traditional sound on their sophomore effort, Survival Story.

Two slabs of razor-sharp Metal drop this week: Fates Warning’s Parellels and Armored Saint’s La Raza.

And a very different double-shot of Jazz this week includes Brad Mehldau’s double-disc Highway Rider, which adds a chamber orchestra to his trio; and Kirk Whalum’s latest inspirationally influenced collection The Gospel According to Jazz: Chapter 3.

Preceding the soon to be released film bio, The Runaways’ Mercury Albums Anthology collects all 42 groundbreaking tracks recorded by Joan Jett, Lita Ford and crew.

The long out-of-print 1982 album from Sly and the Family Stone, Ain’t But The One Way, features his last original music and a searing cover of the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me”

The sonic gurus at Audio Fidelity drop an eclectic trio of 24KT+ Gold remasters this week: Simon and Garfunkel’s Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme; Deep Purple’s colossal Machine Head; and The B-52’s biggest selling effort Cosmic Thing.

Finally, for you vinyl enthusiasts, Friday Music gives the 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl treatment to Billy Joel’s Glass Houses, Kansas’ Point of Know Return, and Yes’ Time and a Word.

And for you PODCAST enthusiasts, you need to mosey on over here: http://feeds.foxnewsradio.com/thefoxlight and grab the FOXLight Podcast which takes all of the above info and adds this week’s hot DVD releases all for the same low, low price of FREE!

Oscar® nominees galore lead this week’s FOXLight DVD release roundup.

The six-time nominated Up In The Air features George Clooney as a job terminator for hire, Anna Kendrick as his young, idealistic trainee, and Vera Farmiga as the frequent-flyer woman of his dreams. Truly a film for our trying times.

And the six-time nominated Precious has newcomer Gabourey Sidibe as the young, illiterate, obese and pregnant title character with a resigned and bitter (and Oscar® winning!) Mo’Nique as her mom. Her life struggles are vividly and heartwarmingly portrayed.

And on the lighter side is Old Dogs, with John Travolta and Robin Williams as best friends on the verge of a huge business deal when 7 year old twins enter their thoroughly non-paternal lives.

Also out this week…

The computer animated Planet 51 has an American astronaut landing on a planet believed to be uninhabited, only it’s occupied by little green folks living in a world not unlike 1950’s America. Voices include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jessica Biel and John Cleese.

The MacManus brothers return from their Irish exile to investigate the murder of a Boston priest [and enact some more vigilante justice] in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus and Billy Connolly.

Documentarian-at-large Michael Moore turns his jaundiced eye toward Corporate America in Capitalism: A Love Story, moving from his old nemesis GM toward some other initials…D.C. and AIG.

And, continuing with the initials, TV on DVD includes…

Current cable-ers Greek: Chapter 4 and Hannah Montana: Vol. 6 – Miley Says Goodbye?

90’s hits The Commish: Season 1; Silk Stalkings: Season 1; and Walker, Texas Ranger: Season 7

80’s faves Scarecrow & Mrs. King: Season 1; Matt Houston: Season 1; Wiseguy: The Collector’s Edition; and cult-classic Tenspeed & Brownshoe: The Complete Series

Last but not least, 50’s & 60’s westerns Wanted: Dead or Alive – Season 2; and The Virginian: Season 1, Part 1 & 2

And make sure to check out the FOXLight Podcast at http://feeds.foxnewsradio.com/thefoxlight for your one-stop-shop for all of the info above, plus all of this week’s big music releases…and it’s FREE!

It’s Apocalypse-two-years-from-Now in this week’s FOXLight DVD release roundup. The earth’s core is heating up and doomsday is arriving in 2012. Danny Glover is the President dealing with the crisis and John Cusack is a writer trying to save his family.

The children’s fantasy book Where The Wild Things Are took many years and many scripts to get to the big screen and the audience reaction was a resounding…meh. Spike Jonze-directed this mix of CGI and live action with James Gandolfini as ogre Carol who befriends Max Records as Max, the child who would be King.

Matt Damon, Tina Fey and Liam Neeson lend their voices to a Japanese-animated retelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid, in Ponyo.

Also out this week…

Jamie Foxx kicks off this week’s FOXLight DVD Release roundup as a Philadelphia lawyer who goes light on a murder suspect then becomes prey to the victim’s widow, Gerard Butler, in Law Abiding Citizen. Butler kills the freed suspect then leans on Foxx to fix the flawed justice system or die trying.

Coco Before Chanel tracks the life of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, played by Audrey Tautou, as she goes from orphan child to international fashion icon in 110 movie minutes flat.

A spoof of and tribute to the Blaxploitation genre, Michael Jai White is Black Dynamite, an ex-CIA operative gone rogue to avenge the death of his brother by slaying pimps and kung-fu fighters while still making time for the ladies. Damn right!

This week’s FOXLight music release roundup kicks off from a charitable standpoint. We Are The World: 25 for Haiti should be available for download by the time you read this. Spearheaded by Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, with a new raft of talent including Barbra Streisand, Kanye West and the Jonas Brothers, and all proceeds will go toward earthquake relief.

Then, there’s Preservation: An Album to Benefit Preservation Hall & The Preservation Hall Music Outreach Program, a long title that says it all. Dropping appropriately on Fat Tuesday, collaborators include Tom Waits, Merle Haggard, Dr. John and Brandi Carlile.

Juliana Hatfield goes real solo with Peace And Love, performed, recorded and mixed by Hatfield herself.

Santana’s 1999 juggernaut Supernatural gets the Legacy Edition treatment, adding a second disc with 11 bonus tracks.

Also out this week…

Mumford & Sons hail from West London and might be the biggest British export since the Arctic Monkeys. Their full-length debut is titled Sigh No More, and is described as a combo of Crosby, Stills & Nash meets Kings of Leon.

The softer, more orchestral side of British music is represented by Tindersticks, and their latest Falling Down A Mountain.

The stateside release of Jason Falkner’s I’m OK…You’re OK has a couple of changes from the original Japanese-only version, and comes on the heels of recent collaborations with Air, Beck and Paul McCartney.

Randy Newman’s 1970 magnum opus 12 Songs gets the limited edition 24 KT + Gold treatment from Mastering Engineer extraordinaire Steve Hoffman. No extra tracks, but the bonus here is the clean, dynamic sound quality on an album that deserves no less.

And two stone soul classics finally get long-awaited CD release thanks to pioneering reissue label Reel Music. Deniece Williams’ Niecy is her 1982 Thom Bell-produced smash including her hit “It’s Gonna Take A Miracle”; and Bill Withers’ third album, 1974’s +’Justments brings his criminally out-of-print album catalog one step closer to completion.

Four couples travel to paradise in this week’s FOXLight DVD release roundup. One are on the verge of collapse but convince the other three to join them for some group-rate counseling in Couples Retreat. Of course they all need help, and they sure get it. Starring Vince Vaughan, Jon Favreau, Kristen Bell and Malin Ackerman.

Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana are destined to be together, despite Bana’s genetic disposition toward skipping back and forth through time and space, in The Time Travelers’ Wife. Suspend disbelief and enjoy with your Valentine.

Nip/Tuck’s Dylan Walsh is the new step-dad with a hidden dark side in the The Stepfather. Penn Badgley returns from military school to meet his new pa-pa and has doubts that mom Sela Ward doesn’t share…at first.

Also out this week…

Oscar® nominee for Best Picture, A Serious Man is the latest quirky black comedy from Joel and Ethan Coen, tracing a Jewish family in Midwestern America circa 1967 whose patriarch suffers a surprise break-up, a deadbeat brother who won’t leave, a son with a discipline problem and a daughter with self-esteem issues. Michael Stuhlbarg is the shlub who pines to become a mensch.

My One and Only is loosely based on the early life of perpetually-tanned actor George Hamilton, whose detached mother, played by Renee Zellweger tries for a more glamorous life on the road with young George and half-brother Robbie after George’s dad is caught cheating.

Li’l Wayne’s last stand leads this week’s music releases in the FOXLight. The much delayed and re-worked Rebirth finally drops a week ahead of Weezy’s sentencing for weapon possession, and is a rock-leaning effort.

Who I Am is a declaration of independence of sorts from Nick Jonas, who splits from the JoBros to form his own Rock and Soul band The Administration in an attempt to grow literally and musically.

Rob Zombie follows up his now 12 year old solo debut with Hellbilly Deluxe 2, packed with more of his patented hard rock and horror.

Reknown producer and Electroni-cat BT returns with These Hopeful Machines; two hours of bleeps, bloops and stutters on two discs.

Joe Satriani Live In Paris: I Wanna Rock pretty much says it all in the title.

Also out this week…

Replaced replacement KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick drops BK3, not a Burger King value meal, but his third solo disc with help from Gene Simmons, John Corabi and Steve Lukather.

Charred Walls of the Damned is the eponymous debut of the all-star Metal outfit lead by Richard Christy, former drummer for Death and Iced Earth, but known better as a phony phone caller on the Howard Stern Show.

George Winston returns to the world of Charlie Brown with Love Will Come: The Music of Vince Guaraldi, Volume 2; 16 more tracks by the reknown Peanuts composer.

Two Broadway Cast albums to highlight: Finian’s Rainbow features Cheyenne Jackson, Jim Norton and Christopher Fitzgerald; and Vanities – A New Musical comes to the Great White Way after a successful Off-Broadway run.

Ziggy Marley Presents: Dancehall Originators, Vol. 1 collects Marley-approved tracks by Buju Banton, Yellow Man and U-Roy.

And Wall of Sound: The Best of Phil Spector is a one disc distillation of the now-troubled Producer’s trademark productions for The Ronettes, Darlene Love and The Crystals among others.

Zombies walk the earth in this week’s FOXLight DVD release roundup. Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg are two mortal survivors in a world run by the undead in Zombieland. This attempt to marry the fun of Superbad with the absurdity of Shaun Of The Dead also brings Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Bill Murray along for the ride.

Another week, another Jennifer Aniston-starring rom-com. This week’s edition is Love Happens which pairs her with dimple-chinned Aaron Eckhart as a self-help author who needs help of his own. You can probably write the rest.

Hilary Swank is pilot and glass ceiling breaker Amelia Earhart in Amelia, and helping her tell the aviator’s story is Richard Gere and Ewan McGregor as the men in her tragically shortened life.

Also out this week…

11 short films with one common thread are stitched together as New York, I Love You. All are Gotham-based love stories with directors including Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes and Mira Nair and a cast featuring Orlando Bloom, Natalie Portman, Christina Ricci, James Caan, Bradley Cooper and Shia LeBeouf.

More Than A Game followed five young basketball players from Akron, Ohio for 7 years as they developed their skills on route to a national high school championship. One of those “Fab Five” is current NBA superstar LeBron James.

And TV on DVD this week includes…

UK sci-fi stalwart Doctor Who: End of Time 1 & 2; Waters of Mars; and The Complete Specials

Classic comedies Mary Tyler Moore Show: The Complete 6th Season; and Mr. Ed: The Complete 2nd Season

Classic soaps and dramas Beverly Hills 90210: The 9th Season; Dynasty: The 4th Season, Volume 2; and Murder, She Wrote: The Complete 11th Season

And for you Game Show freaks (and fans of skinny mics), there’s Best of Match Game; Best of Password; Best of The Price Is Right; and All-Star Family Feud Starring Richard Dawson. Play on, players!

Go to http://feeds.foxnewsradio.com/thefoxlight for the free FOXLight Podcast, which takes all of the above and adds all of this week’s music releases for good measure.

The soulful Country band with the weird name lends a boot-kick to this week’s FOXLight Music release roundup. Need You Now is the sophomore turn from Lady Antebellum, its lead single already a #1 smash.

Female Irish collective Celtic Woman return with Songs From The Heart, and their takes on tracks by Sting, Billy Joel and Phil Collins.

Barry Manilow apparently ran out of decades, so instead he broadens his interpretive reach with The Greatest Love Songs of All Time, a collection of Valentine-inspired tracks from the worlds of standards, film and Broadway.

Corinne Bailey Rae returns after a four year break with The Sea, which explores loss and grief.

Hit tracks by Owl City, Kings of Leon, Lady GaGa and others are all screeched up on Kidz Bop 17.

Also out this week…

David Bowie’s A Reality Tour is his 2004 live album now expanded to 2 CDs with 3 unreleased performances.

Downtown Church is a gospel-flavored collection from Patty Griffin, with guests including Buddy and Julie Miller, and Emmylou Harris.

Neil Sedaka returns with his first new studio album in over 10 years, The Music of My Life, all tracks written and co-produced by Sedaka himself.

Pat Metheny redefines the term “solo album” with Orchestrion, playing every instrument himself.

Only Everything is David Sanborn’s latest, a tribute in tone and feel to the late, great Ray Charles.

NOW That’s What I Call Love! collects lovey-dovey tracks by Colbie Caillat, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones and Daughtry.

Whitney Houston’s self-titled debut gets the Deluxe Anniversary Edition treatment on its 25th birthday. The remastered album gets filled out with 5 bonus tracks and paired with a DVD of interviews and music videos.

Budget-priced straight reissues of 8 Elvis Presley movie soundtracks continue the King’s 75th birthday celebration, and include G.I. Blues, Girls! Girls!
