Mr. Obama Makes First Public Comments

Former President Barack Obama making his first public comments since leaving office.

FOX’s Jeff Monosso in Chicago has details:

The former President in his first public appearance was joined by some young adults at the University of Chicago for a discussion that Mr. Obama says is the most important issue to him, post presidency, regarding young people:

(Obama) “What are the ways in which we can create pathways for them to take leadership and to help them get involved?”

And knocking down barriers that he says discourages young people from pursuing a life of service. The former President also met Sunday with at-risk young men and boys here in the city where he’s expected to remain for a few days, perhaps working on his nearby presidential library at the University of Chicago.
