‘Get Even’ Video Game Developer Holds Off Release After Manchester Terror Attack

One company paying respect to the victims of the Manchester attack, and a game series that began the early days of Nintendo  is getting a television show.

FOX’s Eammonn Dignam reports in the latest ‘FOX Bits’:

After the Manchester terror attack, the team behind first person shooter “Get Even” has delayed the release of the game. Originally supposed to launch this past Thursday.

It’s an indication that a plot point may be too similar to the bombing of  the Ariana Grande concert that left 22 people dead, and over a 100 injured. Developer The Farm 51 says they’re doing it out of respect to recent events and expressed their condolences.

Given recent events & out of respect we have decided to postpone Get Even to June 23rd. We would like to express our deepest condolences.

The new date for the long in development psychological thriller is June 23.

And old school gamers can revisit the Konami classic game Castlevania, but in a different way… Netflix releasing a trailer for an animated series based on it:

The show will debut July 7 on the streaming service.
