A report in the New York Times suggests the Deputy Attorney General worked to undermine President Trump.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

According to the New York Times, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last year discussed possibly secretly recording President Trump by surreptitiously wearing a wire.

The Times reports that Rosenstein also talked about getting members of President’s cabinet to invoke the Constitution’s 25th Amendment to declare him unfit to remain as president.

Rosenstein pushing back in a statement saying, the “Times’s story is inaccurate and factually incorrect” and that there is “no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
