DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson’s Satisfied with America’s Preparedness for Terror

Terrorism was the topic at a conference in New York City as the nation’s Homeland Security secretary discussed readiness.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

DHS secretary Jeh Johnson says he’s satisfied with America’s readiness, but there is a need to adapt from direct attacks:

(Johnson) “To a world that includes terrorist-inspired and terrorist-enabled attacks.”

Johnson spoke alongside New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, who says his officers are being trained to handle concentrated attacks as well as:

(Bratton) ”Multiple attacks taking into account the events of Belgium and Paris most recently.”

The fight against terrorism was bolstered this week by a house-passed bill that would let DHS use social media messages to combat propaganda used in recruiting.
