Senate Health Care Vote On Hold

Senate Republicans scrap a vote for now on their plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

Senate Republican leaders had hoped to move forward on their version of health care legislation this week, instead, there will be no vote until next month:

(McConnell) “But we’re still working toward getting at least 50 people and a comfortable place.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was facing increasing opposition from within Republican ranks short of the 50 votes needed to advance the legislation.

After the announcement, all Senate Republicans were invited to the White House for a strategy session with President Trump, who McConnell says is very anxious to help.
